To celebrate 100 years of service to Christian County, the Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club hosted a Centennial Dinner January 27, 2022 at the Hopkinsville-Christian County Golf and Country Club. Kentucky-Tennessee District Governor, Lynn Hutchinson joined the festivities.
She shared her journey to becoming a Kiwanian, which started with a Sponsored Leadership Programs in Boyd County.
2015-2016 Club President, Dave Fernandez delivered a verbal history of the club.
The Club provided an honorary membership to Sally Coffeen, a descendent of the first president. Special recognition was given to longest serving member, Roger Jeffers who joined the club in 1962. The club presented annual awards as well - Kiwanian of the year went to Nikki Chambers and Fast Starter to Chandler Ladd.
