Investing in Education

The Hopkinsville Kiwanis Club presented four outstanding 2018 graduates with $1,000 scholarships May 31, 2018. The students competed with others for the funding, which is set aside each year to recognize the hard work and dedication of outstanding young civic leaders. This year's recipients were Alli Cundiff of UHA, Ethan Noel of HHS, Kaitlynn Ruth of HCA, and Zoe Edwards of CCHS. Congratulations to each College Freshman and we look forward to seeing the great things you will do!

Committing To The Community

The Kiwanis Club of Hopkinsville presented Aaron McNeil House, Inc. with $1,200 to support the Backpack Program, which helps ensure kids in need have food to go home with them over the weekend and on long holiday breaks. This money will help provide food for 10 kids for one year. The program currently serves 100 kids and has the potential to serve even more because the need is there.#KidsNeedKiwanis #KiwanisNeedsYou

Plan to join us next February as we support three non-profits in Hopkinsville!

Governor Dale Stops By

It was great to have KT District Governor Dale Hawkins at our Division 14 meeting Thursday night (he’s in the division all the time, but tonight was special)! As a member of the Glasgow club, Dale is a familiar face to many Local Kiwanians and his message is simple - #KidsNeedKiwanis #KiwanisNeedsYou so remember to invite any and every one. It just takes ☝️ person to make a difference, but 💯 hands are better than 50.
